Status bar

The status bar runs along the bottom of the window. Its left side is about the connection, its right side about what you are looking at.

Connection

  • A dot for the state: connected, connecting or offline. Then the database name, with Connecting… or Offline while it is not connected.
  • The environment and workspace, as production · Commerce.
  • The lock chip: Read-only, or Writes enabled once unlocked. Hovering shows Locked · read-only or Unlocked · writes enabled.

Rows

On a table tab:

  • The visible range and total, such as Rows 1–100 of ~12M · 100 loaded. A ~ marks the catalog estimate.
  • Count: counts rows exactly. It gives up after 3 seconds and says so.
  • The time the latest page took to load.
  • The primary key the grid orders by, as PK: id, or Unordered when the table has none.

On a query result it shows N rows loaded instead.

Selection

  • Space with the next action: Inspect value, Summarize cells, Inspect row, Compare rows, Profile column, or Close inspector. Clicking it does the same as the key.
  • With several cells selected, a chip shows statistics such as Sum and Average. Its menu picks which ones to show from Sum, Average, Median, Min, Max, Count, Distinct and NULL. Clicking a value copies it.

Diagrams

On an ER diagram or a design: Zoom out (-), the zoom level, which fits the diagram when clicked, and Zoom in (+).

Always

Encrypted when saved connections are encrypted, with the key details on click. Ready once the native side has started, and the version, Seqora v0.3.2.

Query status is not here. It sits in the SQL editor's footer.
